In this prayer, requests are made for the healing of the sick, abundance for those in need, and peace and health for Israel and all of humanity. Liska has historically been an important place in Jewish life, especially because it was where the Liska Rebbe established a remarkable synagogue, which was one of the largest in Europe then. The memory of the town and its tzadik remains alive and vibrant in Jewish communities, as countless individuals come to request blessings following the Kivrei Tzadikim customs.

Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער), also known as Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן), or the renowned author of the Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה), was among the great hasidic leaders, and his teachings continue to influence his followers to this day. The Rebbe’s deep Torah knowledge and Hasidic wisdom were shaped by his time as a disciple of the famous Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), also known as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה). This bond between disciple and teacher continues to thrive in Hasidic circles, especially among the Satmar community, which honors the memories of both Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.
